Our first exposure to the stunning windows and lamps of Louis Comfort Tiffany came at a 1972 exhibit in New York. It was extraordinary and prompted us to learn more. We studied his techniques, learned from others and experimented until in 1979, we felt we were ready to open our studio, Mind’s Eye, Inc. |
Over the years we produced distinctive boxes, lamps and windows designed and developed as commissioned works and for the retail trade. Swimming River GlassWorks is our second venture. Our style has evolved into a amalgamation of stained glass with painting and staining on glass. |

Now, we proudly bring you another facet of development ~ architectural renderings for the home, business and worship center. From the simplest design to the most complex, our goal remains the same ~ to make the finished piece exactly what our patrons envision in their mind’s eye. |

creation of a unique design requires collaboration. Working with the
client, architect or designer, the artist will develop a pattern
and recommend colors. Method of installation is
considered. Our stained glass creations do not end
with windows and doors. We can create just about any item including
stained glass boxes, centerpieces, gaming boards, mirrors, kitchen
cabinet doors, tables and more. Is there a wall in your home or office
that needs livening up? We can even create a custom light box window
that can give a blank wall an artistic touch and feeling of depth that
you just can't get from a painting. |
